# Pipa

> Pipa turns OpenCode into an AI agent for your business. It connects OpenCode on your computer to Slack so it can run company workflows.

Important notes:

- Pipa is an opinionated OpenCode-to-Slack setup with useful defaults and working rules shaped through real use at Lunch Pail Labs. Pipa skills are installed separately.
- Pipa Local is free and open source. It runs on the customer's computer through OpenCode, is available through Slack, and is operated by the customer.
- Pipa Local is inspectable and changeable. Opinionated means it provides a strong starting point, not that customers are locked into its defaults.
- Pipa Managed runs on dedicated hosted infrastructure and includes workflow setup, ongoing tuning, monitoring, and active management.
- Lunch Pail Labs uses Pipa for product operations, recurring workflows, research, marketing, and maintaining company knowledge.
- Pipa's operations skills can also be installed separately in supported agents.
